BBC boss reopens liberalisation debate as UK politics is transformed

With the UK entering the new territory of coalition politics nobody knows whether the country will continue to be a trailblazer for wide-ranging spectrum liberalisation. The BBC Director General, Mark Thompson, has already taken the opportunity to attack the policy of spectrum pricing for broadcasters
